Space:Above and Beyond was a good show. Dune mini-series also, they had it mostly nailed. Outland with Sean Connery, also 2001 and 2010.

They were using Carbon originally for Dust when they were thinking of doing PC only before deciding on console. Also, Crytek is nice and all. But doesn't work well for multiplayer since it focuses hard on looks . Also cost is a major factor.
